Product Description

Reliance Electric manufactures S12-201P4LU,is an AC SP120 drive. This drive has a 230 VAC voltage rating. The IP20 chassis is a protective enclosure for the drive. This drive includes a keypad. 1.4 A is the output current. The horsepower is 0.25 HP (0.2 kW) at 230 V.

Inside of a cabinet, the sP120 drive should be mounted 100 mm from the top and bottom of the cabinet and 30 mm from the sides of the cabinet. This allows for proper circulation of air through the heat sink. The drive must be mounted flat and vertically on a level surface. Vertical mounting allows for proper heat dissipation. Mount the drive with four M4 x .07 (8-32) screws tightened to 1.2 Nm (11 lb/in). Install the debris cover to protect the drive from dust and debris. Power must be wired to the drive. Install a 3% impedance input line reactor if you expect that the line will have intermittent noise spikes in excess of 2000 V, that frequent voltage dips will occur, that the drive will be operated on a generator that the line will have power factor correction capacitors, or if several drives will be linked via a short common power supply bus bar. Do not cross motor lines or power lines with the control wires. If they must cross, ensure that they cross at 90° angles. To prevent damage to the output when using transistor outputs 11 or 12 with an inductive load such as a relay, install a recovery diode parallel to the relay.
