Product Description

S12-408P6LU is an AC SP120 drive that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The voltage rating is 460 VAC for this three-phase drive. The enclosure type is a protected IP20 chassis. This drive includes a keypad. The output current is 8.6 A. The horsepower is 5.0 HP (3.7 kW) at 460 V. The protection functions on the drive include ground fault, overtemperature, electronic motor protection, undervoltage, overvoltage, and overcurrent. Other functions of the drive include 15 preset speeds, skip frequencies, an RS422 serial interface, unintentional start protection, and PID control. Optional additions to the drive are the line filter modules. The maximum installation altitude is 1000 meters (3300 feet) above sea level. The vibration resistance is 0.6 G operational and the shock resistance is 10.0 G operational. The starting torque is a minimum of 100% or more when a torque boost has been set. The inherent braking torque is dependent on the drive’s motor characteristics.

Drive faults include Overcurrent While Running, Overcurrent During Deceleration, Overcurrent During Acceleration, Overcurrent at a Standstill, Internal Motor Protection, Overvoltage, EEPROM Error, Undervoltage, Processor Error, External Fault, Unintentional Start Protection, Ground Fault, Excess Input Voltage, Overtemperature Fault, Processor Error, PTC Circuit Triggered, Communication Error, Motor Does Not Start, Incorrect Motor Direction, Motor Does Not Accelerate Properly, Motor Runs Unstable, the speed of the motor does not match the frequency, the parameters stored do not match the values entered, no entries can be made, and the electronic motor protection is triggered. The running times for the DC brake are variable.

Frequently Asked Questions about S12-408P6LU
