Reliance Electric manufactures S20-403P5B1000, an SP200 AC drive with a 3-phase 380-480V input and a 3-phase 460V output. This preset drive is rated 2.0 HP. The rated input current is 4.1 amperes, the rated output current is 3.5 amperes, and the fuse rating is 10 amperes. The circuit breaker rating is 7 amperes, and the typical power loss is 50 watts.
One group of program parameters are the dynamic controls. The Acceleration Time 1 default is 5.0 seconds and the Deceleration Time 1 default is 5.0 seconds. The Acceleration Time 2 default is 10.0 seconds, and the Deceleration Time 2 default is 10.0 seconds. All four of these parameters have a range of 0-600.0. The stop control default is set to 0, which indicates that the drive ramps to a resting position. Other stop control parameters include “1”: coast-to-rest, and “2”: DC injection. The DC brake current default is 50%, and the range is 10-150%. The DC brake time at stop default is 0.5 seconds, and the range is 0-20.0 seconds. The avoidance frequency default is 0.0 Hz, and the range is 0-240.0. The avoidance frequency band default is 0.0 Hz, and the range is 0-30.0.
All fixed speeds have a range of 0-240.0 Hz. The internal/jog frequency of A, B, and C drives is 60.0 Hz. Preset Speed 1 is 2.5 Hz, Preset Speed 2 is 5.0 Hz, Preset Speed 3 is 10.0 Hz, Preset Speed 4 is 20.0 Hz, Preset Speed 5 is 30.0 Hz, Preset Speed 6 is 40.0 Hz, Preset Speed 7 is 50.0 Hz, and Preset Speed 8 is 60.0 Hz. Preset speeds 1-8 are available on B drives only.
