Product Description

1SU14001 is a single phase SP500 demo drive manufactured by Reliance Electric. This drive does not have an enclosure. The power watts loss is 80 watts, the output is 6.8 amperes, the input is 0.6 KVA and 5.2 amperes, and the AC input is 115 volts.

Under any condition, the drive is intended to operate trip-free. The drive can be identified by its model number. “1S” is a basic catalog number. “U” indicates that the drive is UL listed and IEC certified. The next number in the model number indicates the drive voltage, wherein “1” is 115 VAC, “2” is 200-230 VAC, “4” is 380-460 VAC, and “5” is 575 VAC. The next number indicates the drive enclosure, wherein “1” is a NEMA 1 or chassis, “2” is a NEMA 12 only, and “4” is a NEMA 4X/NEMA 12 enclosure. The last three numbers indicate the drive’s horsepower rating. “001” is 0.25 to 1.0 HP, “002” is 2.0 HP, “003” is 3.0 HP, “005” is 5.0 HP, “007” is 7.5 HP, “010 is 10.0 HP, “015” is 15.0 HP, and “020” is 20.0 HP.

The optional kit available for the drives is the Low Energy Snubber Resistor Braking Kit. The drive must not be installed above 1000 meters. For every 91.4 meters above 1000 meters, derate the output power current by 1%. Keep the drives in an area that is clean, cool, and dry. Locate the drives away from oil, coolants, and other airborne contaminants.

The NEMA 4X (Indoor Only) enclosure provides protection for the drive against hazardous and corrosive environments. In the case of the SP500 1SU14001, the cover is also an easy clean cover, allowing the user to quick scrub off any dirt or particles that begin to cover the drive. 
Which fault codes are auto-restartable on the 1SU14001 SP500 drive series?
The 1SU14001 drive will restart automatically to correct a fault 10 times before shutting itself down completely due to a greater term error. The fault codes which are auto-restartable for the SP500 1SU14001 drive are: HU (High bus voltage), LU (Low bus voltage), OC (Overcurrent), OH (Thermostat/drive overload), and OL (Electronic thermal overload). After the drive has restarted to correct one of these faults, it must run for at least five minutes in order to reset the number of fault reset attempts, which is 10.
