1SU21005 is a 3-phase SP500 drive manufactured by Reliance Electric. This drive is NEMA 1 enclosed and rated 5 HP. The enclosure is size C, and the AC input is 200-230 volts, and the power loss is 250 volts. The output is 14.2 amps, the input is 17.2 amps, and the input KVA is 6.9. The NEMA 1 enclosure is generally used for indoor applications and includes vents. It is not recommended to replace individual parts of the controller. For Troubleshooting and Fault Codes, refer to Section 7 of the user manual. Operation failures often indicate a drive fault that may be correctable. Fatal faults may require replacing the drive.

The SP500 series of drives can operate either single motor or multimotor applications. For single motor applications, size the controller and motor for the load and speed requirements of the specific application. For multi-motor applications (one controller can run two or more motors) all motors must start simultaneously, and the sum of the full-load current of all the motors must be equal or less than the maximum output current rating of the controller. If one or more of the connected motors has to start independently of the other motors, any motor that starts or stops while the controller is running must have a full-load current rating less than 10% of the maximum controller output current rating. The maximum controller output current rating (under any conditions) must be greater than the sum of the maximum full load current of all the connected motors.
