About the 1SU24002
1SU24002 is an SP500 Reliance Electric drive that can either be a 4 KHz, 6 KHz, or 8KHz carrier. A 4KHz carrier has an output of 7.5 amps, an input if 9.9 amps, and an input of 4.0 KVA. A 6KHz carrier has an output of 7.0 amps, an input if 9.3 amps, and an input of 3.8 KVA. A 8KHz carrier has an output of 6.5 amps, an input if 8.7 amps, and an input of 3.5 KVA.
Use twisted pair wire for all signal wiring. Use a minimum of #22 AWG wire for wiring of distances of up to 1000 feet. The tightening torque for terminals 1 through 16 on the regulator terminal strop must be 7 in-lbs maximum. Route all signal wiring through the knockout opening at the top left of the controller. Remove the factory-installed jumper at terminal 10 to install a normally closed, maintained emergency stop button. Route external control wiring (remote station) through the top right opening.
The drive has a four-character display that indicates either a function number, the value of the function or fault codes. There are eight indicator lights on the keypad: RPM, %Load, Volts, Remote, RUN, Program, Forward, and Reverse. There are six buttons on the keypad: an up arrow, a down arrow, a mode/enter key, a forward/reverse key, a start key, a stop/reset key. When power is applied to the controller, the display will show “SELF.” During this display period, the microprocessor will perform a diagnostic routine.
