About the 1SU44010

The 1SU44010 is an SP500 AC drive manufactured by Reliance Electric. It is UL listed and IEC certified. This drive’s basic features include a 380-460 VAC Voltage rating, NEMA 4X/NEMA 12 enclosure ratings and a horsepower rating of 10 HP. Please note, the NEMA 4X and NEMA 12 enclosure ratings indicate that this 1SU44010 drive is intended for indoor use only. While this particular enclosure is both water-tight and dust-tight, it is not designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and is not vented. This enclosure is equipped with base and keypad gaskets.  The 1SU44010 drive has a 35A fuse ratings. When selecting the input AC line branch circuit fuse for your drive, please note that the recommended fuse types include UL Class J, 600V, time-delay or equivalent rated fuses. 1SU44010 can support 17.2 amps input and provides an output of 14.2 amps. This SP500 AC Drive has three phases and is labeled size C. Size C modules are 10.9 inches (278.1 mm) wide, 14.1 inches (337.8 mm) high, and 6.2 inches (158.22 mm) deep.

Unlike many of the SP500 drives, the 1SU44010 a 12 AWG wire is recommended for wiring. This type of wiring includes AC Input Power, Output Power, DC Bus, wiring the Snubber Resistor and Ground wiring. The physical components of this drive include a control terminal strip, regulator PCB, membrane switch and bracket assembly, an internal fan assembly, a capacitor PCB, ground connections, power PCB and a power terminal strip. Depending on the needs for your system, the 1SU44010 is compatible with many of the kits within the SP500 series.
