About the 2DB4010

2DB4010 is a Low Energy Snubber Resistor Braking Kit for 1SU4xxxx SP500 Reliance Electric drives. The voltage level is automatic and the kit does not allow for adjustments. Do not let the kit temperature rise above 50° C. The user must calculate the peak and average power of the kit application in order to determine the size of the snubber resistors. If the peak and average power cannot be calculated due to unknown values (such as system inertia), select the braking units based on the drive horsepower rating and the application duty cycle. A DC current composes the input to this kit. The DC bus is one of the three lamp indicators on the kit.
