About the 2DB5010

2DB5010 is a Reliance Electric Dynamic Braking Kit. This kit is associated with model 1SU5xxx controllers in the SP500 drive series. Do not attempt to apply this kit to drives that do not meet the correct specifications. As an optional addition to the drive, this kit is designed to rapidly decelerate the drive motor. Rapid deceleration, as opposed to a coast-to-rest stop, is a quick way to stop the motor. The dynamic braking kit is ideal for applications which require frequent stopping and starting of the drive, and/or for applications which require fast motor stops. This kit is UL and CSA rated for optimum safety.
