Product Description

The 2DF4284 module was created and manufactured by Reliance Electric as part of the SP500 series. The 2DF4284 module is classified as a Mains Filter.

A Mains Filter, such as the 2DF4284 module, is designed to be housed inside of a compact NEMA 1 (IP21) enclosure. The Mains Filter is designed to be mounted between a wall or a back panel and the SP500 itself. To accomplish this, a Mains Filter is outfitted with tapped holes and pre-drilled holes on the filter enclosure. Any incoming AC power is designed to be routed into the top of the filter. Any outgoing AC power is routed from the bottom part of the filter to the bottom part of the SP500. Provided with a Mains Filter are flying leads and mounting hardware.

The 2DF4284 Mains Filter is rated for 3-phase, 50/60 Hz, 500 VAC maximum. The 2DF4284 can perform at either 7.5 HP or 10HP, depending on the user’s needs. The 2DF4284 Mains Filter is small in size. It is a metal device with four wires coming out of the top: One red, one green, one yellow, and one blue.
