About the ACDA-16
ACDA-16
The ACDA-16 module is a part of the VZ3000 series of devices, a part of the Vectrive AC Servo lineup of units. Reliance Electric Ltd is responsible for the design, development and production of the Vectrive AC series. This series of vector drives were built to be able to provide vector regulation within an industrial workplace. The series has a whole is equipped with the standard components to do so: an IPM module, and a series of IBGT transistors.
The ACDA-16 unit is outfitted with a set of AC Power input ports, alongside a duo of DC bus terminal ports. There is also a grounding terminal port included. These terminals are protected by the front cover panel, which is screwed tight into the unit’s frame. To unscrew them for repairs/reconditioning, simply loosen and remove the screws retaining the cover.
Internally, the ACDA-16 includes several standard Vectrive AC hardware components. There is a pair of modules; a converter and inverter, and a relay feedback device as well. The software that properly runs the unit is the Windows-based Zterm operating system.
Operators are able to control and change the unit’s functions via the integrated keypad, or by a host communication device, such as a local PC.
The ACDA-16 is designed with a NEMA 4X/12 rated protective cover, which prevents invasive elements from damaging the internal systems.
