About the VC-215A
VC-215A
AX Control Inc. has several of the Vectrive AC Servo drives in stock. Our inventory is used, yet has been completely reconditioned and fully optimized by our on-site technicians. The Vectrive AC Servo modules were products initially produced, manufactured, and sold by the industrial electronics manufacturing company, Reliance Electric.
These drives are designed as vector management and regulation units, and achieve that process via the complex system of hardware and other parts internally outfitted into the frame. This unit in particular is the VC-215A model of the Vectrive AC Drives.
The Vectrive AC models are outfitted with numerous sets of components, all working together in a complex system. What drives the vector functionality in these units is an intelligent power module, or IPM, and a series of insulated gate, bipolar, traNsistors, or IGBT units. These parts work together to create a sinusodial, pulse width modulated waveform, which alters and regulates the vector applications.
These units are powered by a standard 3 phase intake, ranging from 200 to 220 volts. The control supply is 50 to 60 hertz. The total power capacity is 15 kw. Physically, these drives are 15” by 15” by 19” (width/height/depth).
The VC-215A, much like the rest of the Vectrive AC Servo drives, is outfitted externally with a similar design. The metal cover (graded with a NEMA 4X/12 protective rating) is painted gray, with a metallic finish, and is emboldened with a set of stripes, with the light blue and black of Reliance Electric Ltd. AX Control Inc. is able to provide the VC-215A, and the rest of this series, with an extensive protection warranty, which is automatic upon purchase.
