About the VC-215B
VC-215B
The industrial electronics company Reliance Electric (LTD) was the original designer, manufacturer, and producer of the Vectrive AC Servo line of vector regulatory drives. These drives are a uniformly designed series of products. Each of the modules here in stock at AX Control Inc are still with their protective metal cover, NEMA 4X/12 grade, and with the same black and blue stripes of the Reliance Electric colors on the bottom of the front panel.
The VC-215B module of the Vectrive lineup is a C-Front module of the AC Servo drives. The vector functionalities of these drives are achieved by an advanced system of internal hardware.
The regulation and managing functionalities are achieved by a sinusodial PWM (pulse-width modulated) waveform, which is created using an intelligent power module, and/or a set of insulated gate bipolar transistor modules, or IGBTs.
The VC-215B is also outfitted with the other usual component parts that the Vectrive Drives utilize. There are the dual inverter and converter modules, next to the relay node that is integrated. These drives also have a motor, functioning as portioned off hardware. The Vectrive AC series is outfitted with a power capacity at a maximum of 15 kilowatts. An additional energy supply ranges from 50 to 60 hertz.
The Vectrive AC Servo drives are designed with a standard set of dimensions: 15 inches in width, 15 inches in height, and 19 inches in depth. Alternatively, they are measured at approximately 380 mm x 380 mm x 483 mm.
