About the UAZ3037
The UAZ3037 is a Separate-Type VZ3000 Converter Unit that was originally designed by Reliance Electric.
The UAZ3037 has a 200/400 V power supply voltage, 37 kW, and is 3-phase. When using a 200 V power supply voltage, it can maintain an input of 50/60 Hz, 163 amps, and 180/260 VAC with an output of 188 amps and 240/350 VDC. When using the 400 V power supply voltage, it can maintain an output of 460-700 VDC and 188 amps with an input of 163 amps, 340/510 VAC, and 50/60 Hz.
The UAZ3037 is protected by a chassis enclosure that should be installed in an environment that is away from corrosive and flammable gas, direct sunlight, oil mist, coolant/water/condensation, dust, and metal powder. It should be operated between +14 to +131 degrees Fahrenheit and between 5-95% humidity.
The UAZ3037 has a front cover that is protecting three sets of terminal strips. There is a main control terminal strip that has 8 terminals and is labeled B1, B2, G (E), 145 (N), 147 (P), 181 (R), 182 (S), and 183 (T). There is an overheat fault output terminal for a built-in regenerative resistor ROH1 and ROH2. Finally, there is a control circuit terminal strip that is labeled ROH, IP, + VC, RDY, and 0 VC. On the right side of the unit beside the front cover, is a bank of display lamps. Theses lamps are labeled RST, TR, ROH, RDY, FAN, OH, PWR, IP, and RB. The bottom and sides of the unit have air ventilation holes.
