About the UAZ3275

The UAZ3275 is a VZ3000 series Converter Unit/Thyristor Unit for a Reliance Electric Drive System.

The UAZ3275 is a 200-230 VAC dedicated unit. It has a 200 V class power supply voltage. It has an input rating of 180-260 VAC, 350 amps, and 50/60Hz with an output of 298 amps and 240-350 VDC. It has the capacity to overload for 150% for 60 seconds. It weighs 25 kg and is 230 mm wide x 400 mm tall x 370 mm deep.

The UAZ3275 is covered by a chassis type enclosure. On top of the unit is a main circuit terminal with 4 large terminals. These are labeled 181(R), 182 (S), 183 (T), and G(E) and they are covered by a protective plate. On the front panel of the converter is a set of display lamps that are labeled TR, PWR, FAN, RST RDY, ROH, IP, OH, and RB. There is also a control circuit terminal strip that is labeled CONV-ON, FR, FR, ROH, IP RDY, 0 VC, and +VC. On the bottom of the unit are more main circuit terminals that are labeled PB, 147 (P), and 145 (N). There is also a large external fan assembly that forces air into the internal components of the unit.

The UAZ3275 should be mounted vertically in a cabinet. When this unit is mounted a duct should be installed at the upper end of the cabinet. This will allow the air within the cabinet to be vacated to just outside of the cabinet so that the specified temperatures for the unit can be maintained. It is also recommended that an ICB Circuit breaker (sold separately) be installed into this unit.
