About the UBZ-341A
The UBZ-341A is a VZ3000 3-Phase 110 kW Bus Unit created by Reliance Electric.
The UBZ-341A is a replacement Bus unit that uses class 400 power supply voltage. It has an output of 0-120 Hz, 0-460 VAC, and 400 amps with an input of 460-700 VDC and 409 amps. It has a 5 kA short circuit system rating. Two of these units are used in the UBZ343A parallel drive unit.
The UBZ-341A should be installed into a control cabinet setup. It should be mounted below a duct system and on top of an IGBT (UGZ341A) Unit. These two units are normally connected together using copper bars. The duct system in the cabinet is needed to expel warm air from the cabinet so that the machinery in the cabinet can safely stay under the specified maximum temperature for this drive system. The specified temperature this unit should stay between is -10 to +55 degrees Celsius. There are brackets on the back of the unit that can be used to mount the UBZ-341A to the back panel on the control cabinet.
The UBZ-341A is encased in a chassis that has air vents and an exposed bottom. On top of the unit are two main circuit terminals that are labeled N and P. There are also two display lamps on its faceplate that monitor the power and fuse. This unit should be installed into an area that is free of high humidity, vibrations, corrosive gas, direct sunlight, dripping water, dust, and metal powder.
