About the UGZ-341A
The UGZ-341A is a VZ3000 3-Phase 110 kW IGBT Power Unit that was initially produced by Reliance Electric. ABB and Baldor Reliance may have also sold this unit under their product lines depending on when it was released, but this series has been discontinued.
The UGZ-341A uses a class 400 volt power supply. This is a single replacement unit. Two of these can be used in the larger parallel drive unit UBZ343A and a single UGZ-341A comes with the UVZ-341A unit. It is meant to be used in conjunction with a UBZ341A Bus unit that is sold separately. The IGBT unit connects to the BUS unit using a copper bar. These units are typically mounted in a control cabinet system. The IGBT unit is mounted directly below the Bus unit and to the right of a regulator unit. This unit should not be used without being attached to the Bus unit.
The UGZ-341A has four main terminals on its base that are labeled W, U, E, and V. The U, V, and W terminals are connected directly to the motor for this system. There is a set of display lamps labeled BBLK, OC, OC, REG, P/S, DP, and HS. There are air vents and two external fans that are on the chassis that help regulate the air temperature within the unit. The temperature range that should be maintained for this unit is between -10 to +55 degrees Celsius.
