About the UGZ341A
The UGZ341A is an IGBT Power Unit for a Reliance Electric VZ300 Series Drive System. It may have been mass-produced by ABB or Baldor Reliance but is now in a discontinued series. AX Control still strives to keep the UGZ341A in stock.
The UGZ341A is three-phase with a power supply voltage of class 400 V and a drive capacity of 110 kW. This unit is covered by a chassis enclosure. It should be maintained in a dry, cool, and clean spot that is free of dust, dangerous gas that is flammable or corrosive, metal powder, direct sunlight, coolant, and water/condensation. The temperatures around this unit should be monitored and should be kept between -10 to +55 degrees Celsius. An air duct system should be installed in the control cabinet. The air duct will dispel the warm air within the cabinet to the outside of the cabinet to help keep the air within the cabinet within the temperature limits.
The UGZ341A is meant to be paired with a UBZ341A Bus Unit (sold separately). The Bus unit is mounted in the control cabinet just above the IGBT unit and just below the air duct system. There are brackets on the back of the unit that are used to mount the UGZ341A into the control cabinet. The IGBT and Bus units attach together using copper bars. There are four main circuit terminals on the base of the unit that has been labeled W, E, U, and V. There is also two large air circulation fan assembly on the bottom side of the unit. There are also air vents on the back, sides, and bottom of the chassis.
