The UVZ-3030 is a VZ3000 3-Phase 30 kW Inverter Unit originally sold by Reliance Electric.
The UVZ-3030 has a class 200/400 power supply. It has a 270-310 VDC and 69 amp input with a 0-120 Hz, 0-230 VAC, and 80 amp output @ 200 volts. It also has a 513-621 VDC 80 amp input with a 92 amp, 0-120 Hz, 0-460 VAC output @ 400 volts. Unlike many of the other units in this series, this unit uses a 3 Hz instead of 5 Hz carrier frequency. This drive has many different protection features that include PG failure protection, unit and motor heat protection, control power supply protection, low or high voltage protection, and overcurrent protection. When the drive suffers an instantaneous power loss, it has 5 user-selectable response methods. It is 176 mm wide, 460 mm tall, 312 mm thick and weighs 16 kg.
The UVZ-3030 is protected by a chassis style enclosure. It should be mounted to the backplane of a control cabinet that is located in an internal environment. The temperature in the cabinet should be monitored and kept between -10 to +55 degrees Celsius and the humidity should be kept between 5-95%. The cabinet should not be exposed to liquids (water/condensation), dangerous gas (corrosive or flammable), or airborne contaminants (dust, oil mist, or metal powder).
There is a front cover on the UVZ-3030 that is shielding the control circuit terminal strip and the main circuit terminal strip. Both of these strips have 6 terminals each. This unit also uses a DC brushless fan to help with temperature control.
