About the UVZ-3455

The UVZ-3455 is a VZ3000 3-Phase 55 kW Inverter Unit that was produced by Reliance Electric.

The UVZ-3455 includes a regulator unit, a Bus Unit (UBZ3455), and an IGBT unit (UGZ3455). This unit is not used in a parallel drive unit. This unit has a 400 V power supply voltage. It has an input of 460-700 VDC and 119 amps with an output of 0-120 Hz, 0-460 VDC, and 140 amps.  It uses basic software SF-F173BC and should be used with motor VMWGF405515. The communications baud rate is 9600. It has a 3 kHz carrier frequency and can overload at 150% for 1 minute. This unit has the ability to produce 2200 watts of heat. The Bus/IGBT portion of this unit is 1173 mm tall, 210 mm wide, 335 mm thick, and 27 kg. The regulator portion of this unit is 75 mm wide, 435 mm tall, 265 mm thick, and weighs 2.5 kg.

The UVZ-3455 is in a chassis-type enclosure. It should be mounted into a control cabinet in an environment that has a 5-95% humidity rate and in temperatures that are between -10 to +55 degrees Celsius. The environment should be free of corrosive or flammable gas, direct sunlight, dust, metal powder, or condensation/water.

When mounting the UVZ-3455, the Bus unit should be located under a duct unit in the cabinet. The IGBT unit should be connected to the Bus unit using copper bars and mounted directly below it. The regulator unit goes on the left side of the IGBT unit.
