About the UVZ341A
The UVZ341A is a Parallel Inverter Unit for an AC Servo Drive created by Reliance Electric for their VZ3000 series.
The UVZ341A unit is a larger parallel drive unit that is comprised of a Bus Unit, a Regulator Unit, and an IGBT unit. This is meant to be a replacement for an entire drive system. Individual Bus or IGBT units can be purchased separately. This drive is in a chassis-type enclosure and has air vents along all of its side panels. There are mounting brackets on the backs of each of these units that can be used to mount the entire drive into a control cabinet system.
The regulator unit’s faceplate on the UVZ341A is comprised of 5 display lamps, a monitor 7-segment LED indicator, a drop number dial, three communications ports, a control signal port, a PG input port, and a PG output port. It also has a DC unit display, a power unit interface port, a B. BLK display lamp, 6 gate signal ports, two sets of current feedback connections, and a control circuit terminal strip.
The UVZ341A has two sets of IGBT and Bus units. The Bus unit is typically installed above the IGBT unit. The bus unit features main circuit terminals (N & P) on top of its chassis and two display lamps on its front cover. The IGBT unit has main circuit terminals (U, V, E, and W) on the bottom of its chassis and 6 display lamps on its front cover. It also has two large external fan assemblies on its bottom side.
