The UVZ3455 is a 55 kW VZ3000 Inverter Unit created by Reliance Electric. It may have also been part of the ABB or Baldor Reliance product lines but has since been discontinued by Reliance. AX Control does, however, try to keep the UVZ3455 in stock.

The UVZ3455 is an inverter unit that includes a bus unit, regulator unit, and an IGBT unit. It has an input power of 460-715 VDCs. When using standard type carrier frequency, it has an output of 140 rated current amps, 210 instantaneous max amps for 1 minute.  When using a low noise type carrier frequency, it has an output of 126 rated current amps and 189 instantaneous max amps. It uses an IGBT sinusoidal PWM type of full digital control. It has 5 analog command inputs, 9 contact signal inputs, 2 analog monitor outputs, and 8 open collector outputs.

The UVZ3455 is in a chassis type enclosure. It should be kept in an environment that has a 5-95% ambient humidity and in temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 degrees Celsius. It should be installed into a control cabinet that is away from dust, direct sunlight, flammable and corrosive gas, and metal powder. The drive is 1173 mm tall, 210 mm wide, 335 mm thick, and weighs 27 kg.

The regulator unit on the UVZ3455 has 4 green status LEDs, a 7-segment monitor LED, an RST LED, 3 RS-232C communication ports, a control signal port, a PC output port, a PC input port, a terminal strip with 6 terminals, a gate signal connection, a current F/B connection, a power unit I/F connection, and a DC unit connection.
