About the UVZC-3201
The UVZC-3201 is a 1.5 kW Inverter Unit. It was initially created by Reliance Electric for the now discontinued VZ3000 series. There is a chance this model was also sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance, but it has now become a hard part to find. AX Control does try to keep the UVZC-3201 in stock.
The UVZC-3201 is 3-phase, 50/60 Hz, and class 200 V. It has a 180/260 VAC and 14 A input with a 0-230 VAC, 14 A, and 0-120 Hz output. This unit should go with a VMGW200115 motor.
The typical housing for a UVZC-3201 is a chassis type enclosure. It is often mounted to the back panel within a control cabinet. Screws and brackets on the back of the unit can be used to mount it onto the back panel. The cabinet’s location should be in an indoor environment and should be located away from metal powder, oil mist, dust, flammable and corrosive gas, airborne contaminants, and water/condensation. This unit weighs about 7 kg and is 270 mm deep x 392 mm tall x 120 mm wide.
There is a removable front cover on the UVZC-3201 that is protecting several elements. This cover can be removed by unscrewing the two retaining screws on the left side of the front cover. There are three terminal strips and a power indicator lamp under the cover. On the right, beside of the front cover, are communication ports, display lamps, a control signal port, a 7-segment LED, and PG input/output ports.
