About the 3020-CM-208
The PowerLogic 3020-CM-208 is a circuit monitor from Square D. The 3020-CM-208 is designed with standard communications and full instrumentation. The 3020-CM-208 also has standard waveform capture and 8 status inputs. Some capabilities include:
-
Instantaneous readings of Voltage and Current
-
Real Power readings
-
Reactive power readings
-
Frequency metering
-
Average demand readings of current and real power
-
Peak demand readings of current and real power
-
Energy Readings
-
Monitoring of status inputs
-
Energy management alarms
-
Network communications
As noted above, the 3020-CM-208 comes standard with a waveform capture feature. This allows the 3020-CM-208 to log total harmonic distortion and the magnitude of the most significant harmonic. The 3020-CM-208 has the capability to connect to other devices for extended capability.
It is important to note the 3020-CM-208 is factory-set with an address of 01. In any system where there is more than one circuit monitor module, each device must be given a unique address to allow for clear communication. The 3020-CM-208's address may be changed by accessing two rotary switches on its back panel.
As noted above, the 3020-CM-208 comes with 8 status inputs, located at the top right corner of the back panel. The 3020-CM-208 also has (4) 3-phase voltage inputs (120 volts nominal, and (6) 3-phase current inputs (5 amps nominal.) UL Listed. 120VAC 0.5 Amp 50/60 Hz. The unit is mounted with eight screws, three located on each side, and one each top and bottom. Alternately, it can be mounted from secondary mounting holes with eight smaller gauge screws, two to a side.
