About the 3020-CM-2350
The PowerLogic 3020-CM-2350 is a circuit monitor by SquareD (Schneider Electric.) With RS-485 communications onboard, the 3020-CM-2350 can be integrated quickly into any power monitoring or control system. Advanced features allow for accurate measurement of nonlinear loads and true RMS measurement through the 31st harmonic. The capabilities of the 3020-CM-2350 can be expanded using add-on modules that mount to the back of the module.
Standard features of the 3020-CM-2350 include:
-
high-speed event capture
-
field-installable digital and analog I/O
-
event and waveform capture (user-selectable for 4,12, 36,48, or 60 cycles)
-
downloadable firmware
-
UL Listed, CSA certified, and CE marked.
-
data logs and alarms are pre-configured
The 3020-CM-2350 is accurate to 0.2% deviation on volt and current. Data is available for on-site readings through the 3020-CM-2350's six-digit LED screen. The module's communication link can also allow for off-site readings of internal ambient temperature, demand voltage (per-phase present and peak,) coincident readings, predicted demands, bidirectional readings, and apparent accumulated energy. All 3020-CM-2350 modules come with standard 100K memory but are expandable when more memory is necessary. The original manufacturer recommends the installation of expansion memory only by a qualified electrician.
As noted above, the 3020-CM-2350 is equipped with 4-cycle waveform capture. This function allows for high-speed sampling of incoming data or allows the user to set up a variety of pre-set alarm conditions for automatic capture. It is worth noting the 3020-CM-2350 can store numerous captured waveforms (based on the amount of memory allocated.) These waveforms are stored in nonvolatile memory, which means the data is retained even in a power loss event.
