About the 3020-CM-250
The 3020-CM-250 is a Circuit Monitor in the PowerLogic line manufactured by Square D. The 3020-CM-250 is designed as a standalone metering device capable of replacing discrete meters such as ammeters, voltmeters, wattmeters, Varmeters, kVA meters, and frequency meters. Transducers and other analog to digital conversion equipment can be replaced by the 3020-CM-250.
The 3020-CM-250 circuit monitor offers the following features:
-
6-digit LED display for local display of 24 values
-
UL Listed
-
local setup from the faceplate
-
3-element instrumentation
-
True RMS metering through the 31st harmonic
-
Accepts standard PT and CT inputs (120V and 5A)
-
Non-Volatile Memory
-
Historical data
-
Waveform capture
-
Onboard clock and calendar
-
Energy management alarms
-
Industry standard RS-485/RS-422 communication
The 3020-CM-250 circuit monitor allows the user to view data on-site using its LED screen. Current, power factor, voltage, real power, reactive power, frequency, apparent power, peak demand current, peak demand power, accumulated energy and accumulated reactive energy may all be viewed locally. These values can be reset from the faceplate of the 3020-CM-250. It is important to note accumulated energy and accumulated reactive energy reset simultaneously and cannot be reset individually.
The 3020-CM-250 circuit monitor has four communication options:
-
it can be connected to a PowerLogic System Display
-
it can be connected to a PowerLogic Network Interface Module to communicate over a network
-
it can be connected to a programmable logic controller (PLC.)
-
it can be connected to a personal computer using RS-422 communications.
The 3020-CM-250 is UL listed. 120 VAC. 0.5 Amp 50/60 Hz.
