About the 3020-CM150X1
The 3020-CM150X1 is a Powerlogic circuit monitor from Square D. The 3020-CM150X1 provides full instrumentation and communications plus an Integral Display. When more power is needed, up to sixteen 3020-CM150X1 modules can be daisy-chained together to a discrete RS-485/RS-422 port. It is worth noting before the user attempts this all circuit monitors must be set to the same baud rate. Also, each device must have its own address in order to ease proper communication with specific Circuit Monitors.
The 3020-CM150X1 can be added to any circuit where harmonic analysis or power monitoring is necessary. The 3020-CM150X1 may be used in the following ways:
-
For local monitoring--for instantaneous meter readings, demand history, management alarm history, and present status.
-
For remote monitoring--when connected to a personal computer for remote monitoring of circuit parameters.
-
Data-logging, Event-Logging
-
Load-Shedding and sequencing
-
Power factor correction
The 3020-CM150X1 has a standard factory setting of 9600 baud. Resets may be required. The 3020-CM150X1 can communicate at 19.2k baud, 9600 baud, 4800 baud, 2400 baud and 1200 baud rates.
The 3020-CM150X1 has a standard factory address of 01. The address can be changed by accessing two rotary switches at the rear of the unit. The switches allow a total of 100 settings (0 to 99,) but actual addresses are limited to 1-32; any settings beyond this will not be recognized. Use 0 as the switch setting for a single 3020-CM150X1 with point-to-point communications.
The 3020-CM150X1 is equipped with 4 three-phase voltage inputs (120 volts nominal) and 6 three-phase current inputs (5 amps nominal.)
