Product Description

The 3020-IOM-44 is a PowerLogic I/O (Input/Output) module manufactured by Schneider Electric, previously Square D. The 3020-IOM-44 has four status IN, one KYZ pulse OUT, and three Form-C relays OUT. The maximum control power burden when the 3020-IOM-44 is present is 14VA at 120V and 20VA at 240V. They KYZ solid-state relay is rated 240VAC and 300VDC.

It is worth noting that the 3020-IOM-44 is not suitable to be used with standard function circuit breakers. However, it will allow a MicroLogic 'full-function' circuit breaker unit to communicate and be networked within a Powerlogic network.

As noted before, the 3020-IOM-44 delivers three Form-C 10A mechanical relays. These relays are designed to flash alarms, open or close circuit breakers, and do more mechanical tasks. Mechanical output relays can be configured to several different modes, including: normal, latched or electrically held, timed, kVaH pulse, KWH in pulse, and kVAr out pulse. Status inputs for date and time are accurate to within one second. The one KYZ output on the 3020-IOM-44 is a Form-C contact with a maximum rating of 96mA. This is a solid-state relay designed for pulse initiator applications and is the best relay used for any pulse applications.

The 3020-IOM-44 can detect over 100 alarm conditions, and can have multiple alarm conditions assigned to one relay. Setpoint-controlled relay operation can be assigned for certain types of non-time-critical relaying.

The 3020-IOM-44 is designed to flush mount with four screws, two on each top and bottom of the module. A relay diagram is provided on the back of the unit.
