About the 3020-IOM-4444-20
PowerLogic 3020-IOM-4444-20 is an I/O (Input/Output) module from Square D/Schneider Electric. 3020-IOM-4444-20 can be used to count pulses, count motor starts, detect breaker status, and other mechanical applications. Status input S2 is a high-speed status input which, when tied to an external relay, will trigger the circuit monitor's 12-cycle event capture feature. This module is designed with 4 status IN, 1 KYZ pulse OUT, 3 Form-C relays OUT, 4 Analog IN, and 4 Analog OUT (4-20mA.) The 3020-IOM-4444-20 has a maximum control power burden of 21VA at 120V and 27V at 240V.
It is important to note the 3020-IOM-4444-20 can be configured to accept a demand synch pulse from another demand meter through status input S1. The demand synch feature can be activated from the circuit monitor's front panel. The maximum allowable time between pulses is 60 minutes.
As noted above, the 3020-IOM-4444-20 has 4 Analog outputs. To setup analog outputs, software is required. The user must define the following:
-
Analog output label --four characters to identify the output.
-
Output range--maximum range is 4-20mA.
-
Register number--the circuit monitor number assigned to this analog output.
-
Lower limit--minimum output current (4mA.)
-
Upper limit--maximum output current (20mA.)
Each analog output is considered its own 2-wire current loop and must have an isolated receiver dedicated for each output. Equipment damage can result if this precaution is not observed.
A relay diagram is located on the back of the 3020-IOM-4444-20. Indoor use only, type 1 enclosure. The unit mounts with seven screws.
