About the CM-100
The CM-100 is a PowerLogic Circuit Monitor manufactured by Square D/Schneider Electric. The CM-100 has control capabilities that eliminate the need for various control relays and timers. The CM-100 offers a range of circuit information, including a comprehensive view of current and voltage.
The CM-100 comes with these features:
Up to 16 CM-100 units can be daisy-chained together. It is worth noting each unit must be set to the same baud rate for proper communication between devices. The default baud rate is 9600 baud, but CM-100 units can communicate at 19.2k baud, 9600 baud, 4800 baud, 2400 baud, and 1200 baud. Each individual CM-100 unit must also be set with a unique IP address before being daisy-chained together. The IP address can be set by accessing two rotary switches located behind a panel on the back panel of each device. The switches are accessed by loosening two screws and sliding the top panel toward the top edge of the CM-100.
The CM-100 is designed to project through a panel or breaker cell door in a semi-flush orientation. However, the CM-100 can be mounted using another method in locations where space is limited.
The CM-100 is designed to self-cool by way of convection through its 16 gauge steel construction. No ventilation openings have been provided.
The CM-100 performance on a Sy-Max device is rated to one second. When multiple CM-100 circuit monitors are daisy-chained together their performance is rated to five seconds.
