About the CM-2350
The CM-2350 is a PowerLogic Circuit Monitor manufactured by Square D/Schneider Electric. The CM-2350 has RS-485 communications as a standard feature, and so can be easily integrated into any power monitoring or control system. Sophisticated features allow for the accurate measurement of non-linear loads and true RMS metering through the 31st harmonic. The CM-2350 can be easily expanded by mounting add-on modules to the back of the unit.
Standard features of the CM-2350 include:
-
preconfigured data logs and alarms
-
standard 100k memory (expandable)
-
downloadable firmware
-
event and waveform capture (user selectable for 4/12/36/48/60 cycles)
-
high-speed event capture
-
Certified ANSI C12.16 revenue accuracy
-
accepts standard PT and CT inputs
-
Wide operating temperature range standard (-25 to + 70 degrees Celsius.)
-
CSA certified, UL listed, and CE marked
As noted above, the CM-2350 comes with 4-cycle waveform capture. This allows for sampling of incoming data at high speed and also gives the user the option of setting up pre-set alarm conditions for automatic capture of data. Please note the CM-2350 can store numerous captured waveforms. Waveforms are stored in non-volatile memory, so data is retained even in a power loss event.
The CM-2350 may be used for on-site data capture and readings. Off-site readings are also possible through the module's communication link.
The successful operation of the CM-2350 depends on proper handling, installation, and operation. Only qualified electrical personnel should install and maintain the CM-2350. Neglecting basic installation needs may lead to damage to the electrical equipment, other property, or personal injury.
