About the CM-2450
The CM-2450 is a Powerlogic circuit monitor manufactured by SquareD (Schneider Electric.) The CM-2450 is designed to be integrated into power monitoring and control systems and to replace any number of relays, meters, transducers and other components. The CM-2450 has expandable capabilities through the use of add-on modules that are designed to mount on the back of the unit. This module is programmable for custom applications by the user.
The CM-2450 has a six-digit LED display which allows for on-site readings of current, frequency, voltage, and K-factor. It also gives the user the ability to read demand current and voltage, and real and reactive accumulated energy on-site. The CM-2450 also allows the user access to the following data through its communications port:
-
Crest factor (per phase)
-
Bidirectional readings
-
Fundamental voltages (per phase)
-
Fundamental currents (per phase)
-
Temperature (internal ambient)
-
Fundamental real power (per phase)
-
Fundamental reactive power (per phase)
-
Coincident readings
-
Predicted demands
-
Harmonic power
-
Unbalance (current and power)
-
Phase Rotation
-
Harmonic Magnitudes and Angles (per phase)
The CM-2450 is accurate on volt and current readings to a 0.2% deviation. It is capable of identifying voltage swells, sags, and interruptions, and is able to use actual data to develop solutions to voltage sensitivity.
The CM-2450 is manufactured with RS-485 and front panel optical communication ports standard. Onboard data logging, waveform capture, extended event capture, and alarm and relay functions are standard. The CM-2450 has downloadable firmware and extended memory available. 100VAC to 264 VAC 50/60 Hz. 100 VDC to 300 VDC 14VA. CSA approved and UL listed.
