About the E01-2

The E01-2 is a PowerLogic Enercept Meter designed by Square D (Schneider Electric.) The E01-2 has three split core CTs that are interconnected. Communication and metering electronics are built into one of the CT housings.

The E01-2 is designed to snap into place with no complicated installation. Once the E01-2 is in place, the end user only has to connect communication lines and voltage inputs to complete the installation process. It is important to note the fuse pack assembly can overheat and become inoperable if installed on the load-side of a VSD.

The E01-2 Enercept Meter is an enhanced meter (100 A, 1.25" x 1.51" ID) that can deliver up to 26 parameters, including reactive power, power factor, amps, volts, demand, energy, and power. The E01-2 can be used on single phase systems, but it can also be used on three phase systems.

The E01-2 is designed with Modbus RTU 2-wire protocols (RS-485). It is compatible with and can utilize the same communication network as other PowerLogic devices. The E01-2 can be tied to a computer directly, tied to an E-Server for data logging, or it can be networked with other PowerLogic circuit monitors and power meters. The transferred data from the E01-2 can be shown in either graphical or tabular format. The E01-2 may also be used for historical logging and trending, alarming, and producing reports.

The E01-2 is rated 208-480 VAC 50/60 Hz 100 mA maximum. UL listed. Fuse rating on each lead: 1/2 amp 600 V 100 KAIC.
