Product Description

The E08-4 is a Powerlogic Enhanced Enercept Meter manufactured by Square D/Schneider Electric. The E08-4 is designed with cost-effective installation in mind. The three split-core CTs remove the need to disconnect conductors and allow for fast installation. One of these CTs includes metering electronics and current transformers.

The E08-4 delivers 26 energy parameters, including volts, amps, power factor, and reactive power. The E08-4 is designed to connect to three-phase or single-phase circuits.

The E08-4 can be used for energy management and for performance contracting, sub-metering for commercial tenants, or for activity-based costing at industrial facilities. The E08-4 can also be used for real-time power monitoring, as well as motor control and power equipment planning. The user can read data in a tabulated or graphical format for use with logging, trending, and the production of reports.

The E08-4 has an input primary voltage of 208 to 480 VAC and a frequency of 50/60 Hz. It can be installed between 0 to +60 degrees Celsius and a humidity range of 0-95% non-condensing. Enhanced 800 Amps (2.45" x 5.50" ID.) The E08-4 is UL and CUL listed.

The optional EDI (Enercept Display Interface) can be connected to up to 32 meters. The EDI can act as a stand-alone operator interface or can act as a network adapter, allowing the E08-4 to be incorporated into a 4-wire network.

The E08-4 has a standard deviation of plus/minus 1% for the reading of current, voltage, power, and energy. The E08-4 comes standard with RTU 2-wire/RS-485 communication protocols and has ANSI C12.1 metering.
