About the PM-600
PM-600 is a power meter module by Square D, which is part of the Schneider Electric family. PM-600 is part of the PowerLogic 3020 series of power meters. PM-600 has instrumentation and falls within 0.3% accuracy. Default values for PM-600 are: Protocol - Powerlogic, Network address - 1, baud rate - 9600, parity - even, CT Primary (3-Phase) - 5. Default password is set to 0, and Pulse Constant is also 0. Unique to PM-600 is in KYZ Mode is disabled.
PM-600 features full instrumentation, an RS-485 communications port, wiring diagnostics, ASI C12. 16 accuracy. PM-600 should be handled in a safe manner based on the hazard of explosion, burn, or electrical shock. PM-600 should only be installed by qualified electrical technicians, and only after fully reading all instructions. Mounting the PM-600 make sure to allow for space from walls and other objects of at least 4" on the terminal end, and 3" on the vented side.
The PM-600 features connections such as voltage 3 phase inputs, power terminal control, KYZ pulse output, current input (3-phase), communication ports (display), and RS-485 Communications Terminals. The 3-Phase inputs are located in a row of 4 at the top of the unit, the control power terminal and KYZ pulse output fall below it to the left and right respectively. The next two rows of 3 are the 3-phase current inputs. To the left of the bottom row of current inputs is the RS-485 communication terminal. The RS-485 communication terminal is wired by pin thusly: 5, in+, 4, In-,3 out+, 2 out-, and 1 shld.
