About the PM-620
The PM-620 is a PowerLogic Power Meter by Square D/Schneider Electric. The PM-620 is designed to retrofit easily into industrial settings and has applications onboard including switchboards, panelboards, and LVDO (Low Voltage Drawout) feeders. Some of the PM-620's features include:
-
ANSI C12.16 Revenue Accuracy
-
RS-485 Communications Standard
-
Can direct connect up to 600V
-
Has an onboard calendar and clock
-
Accepts 3-Phase, 3-Wire Delta (Calculated B Phase or Metered) system connections
-
Accepts 3-Phase, 4-Wire Wye system connections
-
Has a wide operating temperature of 0 to +60 degrees Celsius
The PM-620 comes with onboard instrumentation, is accurate to a 0.3% deviation, has a date/time stamp, and THD/thd. Calculated neutral current, peak power, and wiring diagnostics are standard. The PM-620 is designed with the following meter connections:
The PM-620 is CE marked, CSA certified and UL listed. To comply with CE electromagnetic compatibility requirements, the power meter must be installed within switchgear (a metal box.) A Merlin Gerin Disconnect Breaker (Type P25M #21104 or IEC 947 equivalent) needs to be connected to control power inputs and metering voltage. Power should be from a stable voltage source whenever possible. If a stable source is unavailable a metered circuit of up to 600V may be used. This meter may be mounted on an enclosure floor, an enclosure wall, a horizontal 35 mm DIN rail, or directly behind the display on the panel door. Only a qualified electrician or electrical personnel should upgrade or install the PM-620 or its peripherals. Failure to observe safety precautions may result in personal injury or equipment damage.
