About the 3050-PIF-3
3050-PIF-3 is a POWERLOGIC interface that is manufactured by Square D. This MICROLOGIC circuit breaker interface features A, B, and C phase true RMS currents, as well as an optional ground fault current. Historical data stored on the interface includes the date and time of the last trip, the cause of the trip, the phase currents at trip, the ground fault current at trip, the number of overload trips, the number of short circuit trips, and the number of ground fault trips. The circuit breaker data stored in the interface includes the breaker type, the sensor rating, the plug rating, the long time and short time pickup and delay settings, the instantaneous settings, and the ground fault pickup and delay settings.
The clock/calendar accuracy is +/- seconds in 24 hours at 25° C. The communications ports included are one RS-485 and eight MICROLOGIC connectors. The control power input has a nominal voltage of 120 VAC, an operating range of 85-132 VAC, and a burden of 1.1 A @ 120 VAC (132 VA). The control power input frequency range is 47.0 to 65.0 Hz, and the isolation is 2000 V is 1 minute. The ride through on the power loss is 20 ms @ 120 VAC. The fusing is a 2A, 250V slow blow. When the Battery Low LED is on, low battery voltage is indicated.
The product interface mounts in the Square D I-Line panelboards and QED switchboards. Any MICROLOGIC full function circuit breaker can communicate to the product interface in new equipment. Each MICROLOGIC circuit breaker is wired toa communications adapter (CIM3F). Each communications adapter is then connected to the terminal strip on the side of the product interface.
