The 3090-CAB108 unit is a 10 feet long RS-485 Four-wire cable. The 3090-CAB108 cable was designed and manufactured by Square D as part of the PowerLogic 3090 series of power monitoring and control systems.

The 3090-CAB108 cables is a small black connector with a long gray wire coming out of the back side. The wire splits off at the end with four wires, each to be used separately.

The PowerLogic 3090 series of power monitoring and control systems is designed to dramatically lower the cost of its user’s energy usage. To do this, the PowerLogic 3090 will first analyze the maximum and minimum reviewing and reading times and trend this data using plots of data logs. Whenever the system is dangerously close to creating a new peak, an alarm will be promptly triggered. In addition to that, the power factor penalties will be reduced by using PFCs (otherwise known as Power Factor Correction Capacitors). After all of that, the PowerLogic system will provide the user with specific information about your system’s power requirements so you will be able to take advantage of the deregulation opportunities of the electrical utility.
