About the 3090-SCCT032
The 3090-SCCT032 module is a Split Core Current Transformer that is part of the PowerLogic 3090 SCCT series, which was designed and manufactured by Square D.
The 3090 SCCT Split Core Current Transformers are a series of instrument grade 5 Amp split core current transformers. Their main purpose is to provide secondary amperage that is adequately proportional to the primary current (specifically, this is referring to the sensed current). These transformers are ideally used with Square D’s PowerLogic circuit monitors, power meters, transducers, and other instruments. The 3090 SCCT series transformers are a convenient, cheap method of transforming electrical service amperes to a 0 to 5 Amp level, which is the compatible level with monitoring equipment. The frequency range of all 3090 SCCT transformers is 50/60 Hz and the leads are 18 AWG, UL 1015 twisted pair, 6 FT (1.8m length). Additionally, the insulation class of all 3090 SCCT transformers is 600 VAC.
3090 SCCT Split Core Current Transformers can be used for a wide variety of applications. For example, they can be used for data logging, equipment monitoring, energy and power management, and power sensitive processes.
The 3090-SCCT032 module’s features are conveniently flexible to fit the user’s needs. The burden capacity is rated at 2.5 VA, the F.S. Accuracy, the ratio is 300:5. and the sensed amperage is 0 to 300A AC. The 3090-SCCT032 module’s housing is type 2, which means that its dimensions are as follows: 3.75” x 1.51” x 1.25” x 1.13” x 3.91” x 4.75”.
