About the 8005-CB-60
The 8005-CB-60 is an I/O Expansion Cable made by Square-D. This cable is no longer being supported by the OM and may be a little had to find. AX Control attempts to keep this cable in stock though.
This is a 1-meter I/O expansion cable created for an SY/MAX Class 8005 Series A-2 I/O module. This cable should be used when the user needs to expand the Model 50 controller by one row or more because of a limitation of installation space. It is recommended that this cable be affixed to a mounting plate and that it should not be installed into a wiring conduit. The total distance for the I/O expansion (that includes modules and cables) should not go beyond 5 meters.
It is possible that an expansion base will be needed to increase the installation space. Expansion bases can be connected together using the expansion cables. When installing the cable, it is important to bend the cable so that it meets the base side, it should not be bent so the cable is facing upwards. These expansion cables are specifically keyed so that they can ensure a proper insertion into their specific sockets. One end of the cable plugs into the expansion base unit and the other end plugs into the expansion power supply unit. The connector cover is attached to the expansion power supply unit and will help secure the cable. To connect the connector cover: connect the cable, invert the connector cover legs, push the connector cover into the power supply slot.
