About the 8005-CP-50
The 8005-CP-50 is a 120/240 VAC Processor Unit from Square-D. This module is no longer receiving support for this processor anymore.
The 8005-CP-50 is a SY/MAX Class 8005 Series A-2 (revision 1.05) Model 50 Programmable Controller. The processor unit is made up of a processor unit, a built-in power supply, and a base for attaching two I/O modules. The memory packs needed for this module are sold separately. This processor is 45 VA and 50/60 Hz. It has a 10G shock resistance and a 16.7 Hz 2G vibration resistance. It has a power consumption pf 45 VA (AC) and 22 W (DC). It weighs roughly 1 kg. It has a power supply capacity of 650 mA. It has a scan time of 8 msec/1k steps. It uses a logic symbol programming method and can offer 15 basic instructions and 26 applied instructions.
The 8005-CP-50 has three LED indicators on it that is labeled power, run, and error located on the left side of the module. On the right side of the module is where two I/O modules can be attached using four screws. There is a small guide on the module that shows the user the proper way to mount the I/O modules. This module’s operating temperature should be between +0 to +60 degrees Celsius and it should be in a 30-95% non-condensing humidity. This processor should be kept away from corrosive gases. It should be mounted vertically to a panel or to a wall.
