About the 8005-EPS-51
The 8005-EPS-51 is a DC Expansion Power Supply made by Schneider Electric Square-D. It is no longer being supported and may be a little difficult to find. AX Control does make every attempt to keep it stocked though.
The 8005-EPS-51 is a 24 VDC power supply. This power supply is used when the processor unit cannot handle the power consumption that its I/O modules require or when a user wishes to add additional I/O modules using expansion bases. This unit can also facilitate two additional I/O that can be mounted on the right-hand side of the unit in the I/O module mounting area. On the side of the unit in between the I/O mounting area is a female expansion cable connector. An expansion cable can connect this unit to an expansion base. On the other side of the unit, is the power terminal in the top left corner and another expansion cable connector. A cable can connect this connector to the processor unit. The cable needed to make this connection is either an 8005-CB-40 or an 8005-CB-60. Both of these cables come sold separately.
The 8005-EPS-51 is meant to be mounted on to a flat surface like a panel or a wall. It should only operate in an inside environment. It is not in a drip or dust-tight enclosure, so it should be kept away from liquids and corrosive materials. This unit should be mounted vertically and not horizontally and it should never be operated from the floor.
