About the 8005-FCB-10

The 8005-FCB-10 is a Remote Interface Cable by Schneider Electric Square-D. It was initially created to be a part of the SY/MAX Class 8005 A-1 series of programmable controller hardware. This cable is a part of the legacy series and may now be a little hard to find. AX Control still makes every endeavor to keep this cable in stock when it is available.

The 8005-FCB-10 is a small 30 centimeter/1 foot long cable. This cable connects the processor to the remote interface unit 8005-RIU-10. This cable is a male 9-pin connector that plugs into the communications port on a standard Model 50 Programmable Controller Unit and then runs to the female port located on the remote interface unit. This port is located on the right-hand side of the module and is labeled Model 50 CPU. The RIU10 is used as a way to connect the user’s PC to the programmable controller system. The programmable controller system is typically mounted vertically onto a wall or panel. It should never be mounted horizontally.
