About the 8005-LTC-101
The 8005-LTC-101 is a single channel Analog Output Module. It is a part of the Schneider Electric Square-D SY/MAX Class 8005 series A1 of programmable controller hardware.
The 8005-LTC-101 is an output module that has the ability to translate 8-bit data into 4-20 mA current signals. This module has a maximum allowable load impedance of 270 ohms. It has an 8-bit resolution and a total accuracy that is +/- 1% maximum of the full scale. It has a maximum output of about 19.94 mA. It has a maximum output response time of 1 msec. This module needs an external power supply that has a voltage of 24 VDC and a max current draw of 70mA.
The 8005-LTC-101 is a small box that weighs around 0.52 lbs. It has a terminal strip on the front that has 10 terminal screws. There is a terminal screw labeled GND. There are 5 labeled No Connection. There are two labeled 40-20 mA DC (-) (+) and two labeled 24 VDC IN (-) (+). There are air vents on the top of the module that help it to keep air circulating to its internal components. This module is meant to only be used in an indoor environment. It should be kept away from excessive dust, corrosive and combustible materials this module is meant to be mounted directly onto a CPU or a base unit. The CPU can then be mounted to a vertical surface.
