About the 8010-SFI-537
This part is a spare Communication Interface Board for a MIC200 Minicell Controller. Schneider Electric created this board within the Square D division of its company. This interface is part of the SY/MAX family that created the SY/MATE network. Their network has the ability to connect over 200 separate devices to each other. The interface has to stay between an ambient temperature of -20 and 60 degrees Celsius. This can fit into one of the three circuitry board slots that are on the controller. These boards are also accompanied by two floppy disk drives that are on the controller.
This Communication Interface Board helps connects the MIC200 Minicell Controller to the main network and other devices. The communication port connector on the board is for a DCE type cable. The main controller has a 1MB system with a 512 KB RAM. The DMA circuitry allows the system to access the RAM without using up the CPU's processing power. The device has a built-in video controller with a storage media control. The board also has a BIOS firmware installed on the system. The board, when installed, is encased inside of of a metal chassis that can protect from small debris. The controller as a whole should weight 15 pounds and be 6.375 x 14.25 x 8.
This is an obsolete part that is no longer in production by the company . This means that the part is only purchasable through online retailers. Thankfully, AX Control has the part and will sell it to you.
