About the 8010-SPR-100
The Square D SY/MAX 8010-SPR-100 is a hand-held programming terminal, suitable for communicating with any SY/MAX Class 8020 programmable controller. Like larger and more traditional CRT programmers, the 8010-SPR-100 features a ladder diagram format programming entry system. Up to 70 contacts can be entered in the ladder diagram rungs on a 10x7 matrix. There are additional keys available to perform a variety of functions, such as timers, counters, and data comparisons.
8010-SPR-100 comes complete with a tactile feedback keypad, a fluorescent display window, and a six foot interconnecting cable. The keypad features 48 keys, with 12 dual function keys and 36 single function keys. The display screen gives the operator access to programming operations and diagnostic error messages with ease. The screen can also display and register values as well as monitor I/O status. The six foot cable is attached to the unit and serves as the sole communication hard line from programmer to controller. The cable’s 9 pin CINCH DE-9P connector plugs into the PROGRAMMER or COMM port on any Class 8020 processor. The cable also recieves the needed 5 VDC power supply for 8010-SPR-100 from the processor.
Measuring 6.13in (W) x 8.44in (H) x 2.75in (D) and weighing only 0.9 pounds, this hand-held programmer is portable and simple to use. When in use, the ambient temperature of the operating facility should be maintained between 0℃ and 50℃, or 32℉ and 122℉. If storing the programmer, the storage temperature must range from -40℃ and 80℃, or -40℉ and 176℉. Be sure to refer to the instruction bulletin for all programming and installation protocols.
