About the 8010-SSK-374
Use the Class 8010 Type SFW-374 Universal Programming Software to program all Sy/Max Class 8020 processors and Class 8030 D-Log data controllers. The Type SFW-374 software is a programming package that enables online and offline programming for the Model 100, 300, 400, 500, 600, 650 and 700 programmable controllers (Type SFW-374 software does not support the Class 8005 Model 50 programmable controller).
The user-interface of the Type SFW-374 Universal Programming Software contains screens that enable programming of multiple operating modes available in the Type SFW-374 software programming environment. You can also set up communications and security levels, define programming diagrams, and define terminal and printer parameters through the additional functions and capabilities that are available to assist you.
You can communicate directly to Sy/Max programmable controllers through a standard RS-232 port installed with a Class 8030 Isolator/Converter-200 module, or an SFI3XX card, or Sy/Link network communications card.
A security key which connects to the parallel port provides security and provides access to computers in the LAN by transferring the security key between all computers that have the Type SFW-374 software installed.
Online communication is available with installation of the Class 8010 Type SFI3XX interface card, a Class 5XX Sy/Link interface card, or an IBM asynchronous port and the Class 8010 Type ICM200 Isolator/Converter Module options.
All programming, monitoring, and disk functions can communicate through the Sy/Net LAN using an asynchronous or SFI3XX card and network interface module, or directly using the Sy/Link card.
