About the 8020-SCP-122
The 8020-SCP-122 module was created and manufactured by Square D as part of the SY/MAX line of products. The 8020-SCP-122 module is described as a Model 100, 40 I/O PC with UVPROM. The obsolescence of the 8020-SCP-122 module was announced in August of 1989. Even though the original manufacturer has discontinued the 8020-SCP-122 module, and thus no longer supports or carries it new, AX Control may have it in stock in either refurbished condition or brand new from surplus stock.
The 8020-SCP-122 module is a large, rectangular-shaped device with forty input and output ports running down the front. These I/O ports are located on the front of the faceplate on the right side. In the middle of the front of the device, there is a slot that is meant for a key that is located toward the top of the module. This key slot has three positions where the key can be turned, and these are “HALT,” “RUN,” and “DISABLE OUTPUTS.” Below this key slot is a series of five indicator lights which will illuminate whenever their associated status is tripped. At the very bottom of the front of the 8020-SCP-122 module, there is a small port meant for connective purposes.
The 8020-SCP-122 module is fairly large in size, weighing in at an approximate total of 10.43 lbs. or 4.73 kg. This total does not include any of AX Control’s packaging materials, which are designed to be safe and reliable, able to withstand the many bumps and falls that can occur during the shipping process.
