About the 8020-SCP-313
8020-SCP-313 is a Model 300, 2K Standard Processor with RAM that is manufactured by Square D. When the processor key is in RUN mode, the processor is operating on all I/O according to the control program. When the processor key is in HALT mode, the processor is not operating on the ladder program and all of the external outputs are off. When the processor key is in DISABLE OUTPUTS mode, external outputs are disabled and the processor is only operating on the ladder program. Without the key, the dimensions are 1.5 in x 12.8 in x 6.6 in. This processor weighs 30 lbs. The logic is microprocessor-based. The memory size is varied in different processors. The memory utilization is 1 word per contact, coil, or branch.
There are a number of instructions that can be represented on the processor. The Data Comparison instruction compares functions between a constant and a storage register or between two storage registers. There can be up to three comparisons on one line. The Data Transfer instruction occurs once per scan, performs math functions, and transfers data between storage registers. There are four math function instructions: +, -, ×, and ÷. The Transitional LET instruction only allows one LET instruction operation of each open-to-closed transition of the input condition. The Binary to BCD instruction converts binary coded data in a storage register into the binary equivalent of that data. The Forcing instruction overrides inputs and outputs. The Serial Communications instruction transfers storage register and I/O status from one device to another (up to 10,000 feet away).
