About the 8020-SCP-452
The 8020-SCP-452 module is a Model 450 processor that was created and manufactured for the SY/MAX 8020 series by the company Square D.
The 8020-SCP-452 processor is a small device with a rectangle shape. The 8020-SCP-452 processor has eight LED indicator lights that are used to indicate the status of the processor, and those are lined up vertically toward the top of the device. These eight LED status indicator lights are listed in order from the top to the bottom as follows: “RUN,” “HALT,” “MEMORY,” “FORCE,” “I/O,” “BATTERY LOW,” “WRITE PROTECT,” and “ETHERNET COMM ERROR.” Below that, there is a small battery access door that is secured by a tiny screw. This small battery door houses the the 8020-SCP-452 processor’s battery, which is a lithium AA battery. On top of the battery door, there is black text that reads, “BATTERY INSTALLED DATE.” Below this black text is a small label where the day that the battery was installed can be written.
Below the 8020-SCP-452 processor’s small battery door, there is a small switch that is meant to hold a small key. There are four positions on this key switch, and those are listed here from the right to the left as follows: “RUN PROGRAM,” “RUN,” “HALT,” and “DISABLE OUTPUTS.” The key turns to these positions to activate the processes that are labeled above. Below the key switch, there lies a small port that is labeled as the “PRGMR CHNL 1.” Below this small port, there are two labels. The labels are “ETHERNET DROP,” for the one on the left and “COMM CHNL 2,” for the one on the right. Under these two labels, there are arrows pointing down to show the user that these ports are placed on the bottom side of the 8020-SCP-452 processor unit.
